HHPR is the largest department on campus with 10 degree programs, 35 faculty members and more than 2,000 students.
The Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation offers a variety of programs of study in public health, exercise science, physical education, athletic training, and recreation and sport management.
The Department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation prepares students for a breadth of careers in public health, kinesiology, and recreation and sport management.
HHPR students enjoy challenging courses and numerous opportunities to gain experience in community settings. The department provides a student-friendly atmosphere where nationally recognized faculty are readily available for students at all levels to assist with everything from course selection to resume building and job advice.

Academic Programs
The department offers 14 degree programs to earn diplomas ranging from bachelor to doctorate. Some classes and programs are available for online enrollment.

Exercise Science Research Center
The lab is a student-centered facility serving to be a leader the field of Exercise Science as well as training the next generation of scientists.

Teacher Education
The college assists in the licensure of physical education instructors and coaches. It serves as an information hub for Arkansas educator licensure requirements and regulations.
